Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Vani (the "Service"), operated by Navamitra, a sole proprietorship based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India ("we", "us"). By signing up at aivani.in or paying the setup fee, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Vani is an AI voice receptionist that answers your business's incoming phone calls in Kannada, Hindi or Tamil, books appointments or takes orders on your behalf, and sends WhatsApp confirmations to you and your customers. We provision an Indian (+91) phone number through our telephony partner Vobiz and route calls through our software hosted on Railway, Vercel and Supabase.

2. Pricing & payment

  • Setup: ₹1,999 one-time, payable on signup. Includes number provisioning, business profile setup, test calls, WhatsApp template configuration.
  • Usage: ₹15 per minute of AI call time, deducted from your prepaid credit balance. Minimum monthly spend ₹299.
  • Credit packs: ₹500 / ₹1,000 / ₹2,000. Credits never expire as long as your account is active.
  • GST: 18% GST applies on all charges. Tax invoice issued to the email on file. Provide GSTIN at signup for B2B ITC.
  • Payment processor: Razorpay. We do not store card or UPI credentials.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business information (name, services, hours, GSTIN if applicable).
  • Keep your prepaid credit balance above zero — when it hits zero, Vani stops answering until you top up.
  • Do not use Vani for unlawful purposes, telemarketing, or any business prohibited under Indian law.
  • Inform your customers, where required by law, that the calls are recorded and answered by AI.

4. What we provide and what we don't guarantee

We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available 24×7, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime — calls may occasionally fail due to telephony, AI model, or network issues. We are not liable for missed bookings, lost revenue, or customer dissatisfaction arising from such failures. The Service is provided "as is".

See our Refund Policy for details. In brief: setup fee refundable within 7 days if Vani is not yet live; unused credits refundable on account closure less a ₹99 processing fee.

6. Data & privacy

Call recordings, transcripts, and customer phone numbers belong to you. We process this data only to operate the Service. See our Privacy Policy. We do not train AI models on your call data.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate the Service if you breach these Terms, fail to maintain the minimum monthly spend, or use the Service for purposes prohibited by Indian law or our telephony / WhatsApp partners' policies. You may close your account at any time by emailing support@navamitra.in.

8. Limitation of liability

Navamitra's total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
